Ragini MMS is one of the most anticipated movies of Bollywood. The movies is produced by Ekta Kapoor. Ekta seems to have developed a penchant for developing taste for unusual topics when it comes to making movies. After huge success of Love, Sex Aur Dhokha, a sensual paranormal sex thriller Ragini MMS is her next project and one of those few movies that deal with the subject of MMS and hidden cameras with the element of paranormal activity in it.
Ragini MMS is said to be based on the real life story of a couple who decide to spend a romantic weekend. But little did they knew that their intimate moments were being captured by hidden cameras that lie hidden in the every corner of the room they were making love in. To add twist to the tale, the girl in the question gets possessed by a supernatural force during their carnal encounter. The movie is reportedly shot in a rather simple way without the frills of horrible faces and special effects like those we see in the run of the mill horror flicks. The movie was first bagged by Kangan Ranaut who reportedly backed out because of the sheer raunchiness of the scenes in the movie.
Ragini MMS will be released in Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. Rajkumar Yadav, Khainaz Motiwala are playing the leads in this film. The movie is all set to release on 13th of may 2011. Let us see whether movie is able to live up to its hype or not.
Update March 29 : The latest buzz is that Ekta Kapoor has decided to reshoot the love scenes in the movie to make them more sexy and steamier. The movie has sex scenes between Rajkumar and Kainaz Motivala. The producer feels that the sex scenes form the core part of paranormal happenings in the movie and so had to be re-shot.
